Why do people become business owners? Is it the rush of getting the sale? Perhaps the potential freedom to choose your own schedule? I'd like to believe it's because we see a need and want to help others fill that need; at least that is the case with Renosa. When my father, David Hammond acquired the business back in 2001, he believed in the companies he was representing and the same belief holds true today.
I can still see him now sitting in his office, always the first up in the morning and the last to go to bed. His desire to help people always driving him to work harder for his customers and provide the best service.
Now 19 years on, that one person business has expanded to four with the added help of my mom, Delia Hammond, my husband, McCord Coleman, and now me, Claire Coleman. The core purpose of the business to not just be a business, but a platform to build and grow relationships with our customers and manufacturers. We are always striving to be better, to do the greatest good, and I think that's important especially now.
